Washington state dentist suspended, charged with using excessive anesthetics on patients

The Dental Quality Assurance Commission announced this week that it suspended the moderate sedation permit of Charles Gooss, DMD, who’s also accused of using nonsterile instruments on a patient.

With the suspension, Dr. Gooss, who worked in Yakima County, is prohibited from practicing dentistry. He has 20 days to respond to the charges.
