David Drzewiecki has been with Absolute Dental Group since 2016 and currently serves as its CEO. As the largest DSO in Nevada, Absolute Dental Group now has over 100 affiliated providers and 550 team members working in nearly 40 practices throughout Nevada. Prior to joining Absolute Dental Group, David spent 9 years at a large DSO that supported 170 affiliated practices, overseeing information technology, specialty operations, and revenue cycle management. He enjoys leading and building high-performance teams and is an efficiency and patient experience improvement junkie who believes everyone can always do better. |

Leading a group of 37 practices means that my workday as CEO of Absolute Dental Group is far from dull. After all, Dr. Patricia Prada, the owner of Absolute Dental Group, and her associates together treat over 200,000 patients each year throughout Nevada. With this volume, having the right systems and tools in place is key to efficiency and scalability, and that’s where Dentrix Enterprise comes in.
We’ve been using Dentrix Enterprise for over 10 years now. We knew if we wanted to support high-volume growth with multiple dental specialties, we would need a scalable, reliable, and responsive system. We spend very little time supporting Dentrix Enterprise, and that’s simply because it “just works.”
An efficient workflow that leads to improved patient care is something we strive for every day. For Absolute Dental, Dentrix Enterprise is available in every operatory in every practice for digital radiography, treatment presentation, recall scheduling, and general system access. Team members can scan directly into the document manager, which has created a near-paperless environment.
Dentrix Enterprise has a robust back-end data model that supports our analysis and KPI reporting. We’ve built a suite of reporting to support additional analysis, along with our own custom online scheduling functionality and text-messaging recall systems.
Another point to emphasize is security and stability, which are natively built into Dentrix Enterprise. We’ve found that the number of built-in security features within Dentrix Enterprise is impressive—from role-based to broad-based security.
