DentScribe.ai introduces expanded in-app diagnostics and support tools

DentScribe.ai has announced an update to its platform that adds a range of diagnostic and support functions directly within the DentScribe app. The update is designed to improve system visibility, streamline issue identification, and enhance reliability for larger practices and dental service organisations (DSOs) operating at scale.

The new release includes an app health check hub, which provides real-time access to diagnostics, support functions, and activity logs. Users can now run a series of self-service checks, including tests for microphone function, network stability, storage availability, notification permissions, and cloud connectivity. These tools are intended to help dental teams and IT staff identify local or network-related issues more quickly.

The update also introduces expanded system awareness features, displaying in-app indicators for AI service availability, authentication status, and practice management system (PMS) connector health across platforms such as Dentrix, Open Dental, and Eaglesoft. The app can also flag potential processing delays during periods of high usage.

A new one-tap problem report function allows the app to compile diagnostic information and logs — excluding patient health information — and send them directly to DentScribe support. This aims to reduce the time required for triage and remove the need for manual file handling.

According to DentScribe.ai, these changes are intended to support practices with multi-site operations, numerous operatories, and high daily volumes of clinical notes. The company states that improved supportability enables faster issue resolution and more consistent troubleshooting across locations.

Dr Vinni K Singh, founder and chief executive officer of DentScribe.ai, noted that the enhanced diagnostics and clearer visibility are designed to reduce the burden on dental teams and help practices remain productive. He stated that providing users with tools to resolve issues within the app can limit disruption and reduce reliance on external IT support.

The update also includes a detailed diagnostics panel, real-time service and connector status indicators, and best-practice guidance for staff and IT teams, covering areas such as firewall rules, device permissions, and operating system settings.

DentScribe.ai positions the new features as part of its broader effort to support enterprise-grade reliability and maintain consistent performance for busy dental environments.
