Hong Kong June 21, 2017 – Dentsply Sirona introduced the Dentsply Asia Academy Center to the dental world with a Grand Opening in Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon. More than seventy professionals from the Hong Kong dental community were gathered and treated to a tour of this inspiring space, which boasts state of the art educational and learning infrastructure and facilities, and showcases Dentsply Sirona’s advanced dental procedural solutions and technologies. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held, followed by the speech from Valerie Baschet, VP & General Manager from Dentsply Sirona Asia and three VIP guests from the University of Hong Kong, No. 1 Dental School in the world: Prof. Gary Cheung, Prof. Chu Chun Hung & Prof. Micheal Burrow.

The multi-purpose facility has been designed and tailored to offer dental professionals first-hand training and hands-on experience with the most advanced Clinical Education programs and the latest innovative advancements in dental technologies and treatment solutions.
The Academy Center is equipped to meet diverse learning and education opportunities with a ten-station simulation clinic, a workshop setting for 30 participants and a lecture area which can accomodate up to 60 seats.
The Showroom area includes a comprehensive showcase of technologies, equipments, instruments and materials solutions offering an integrated workflow and serving the entire specialties spectrum of dental specialties. Some of those include the Dentsply Sirona Sinus and Intego treatment centers, Cerec Omni cam system, cone beam imaging system, and instrumentation.
