Health-E Commerce, the parent company of FSA Store and HSA Store, has launched a new telehealth partnership with SmileSet to offer tax-free access to orthodontic products.
Under the agreement, consumers can use flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) funds to purchase SmileSet impression kits, clear aligners, retainers, and night guards. Shoppers accessing SmileSet through FSA Store and HSA Store will receive a 25% discount on impression kits and custom aligners.
The collaboration aims to broaden access to orthodontic care through remote consultations. “Telehealth has the power to deliver convenient, clinically supported healthcare services that meet the budgetary needs and schedules of individuals and families,” said Keri Kaiser, chief revenue officer at Health-E Commerce. She added that the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to helping consumers manage oral health using tax-free healthcare funds.
SmileSet operates a doctor-directed treatment model, with every orthodontic plan reviewed and approved by licensed dental professionals. Its FDA-cleared aligners are manufactured in the United States and are supported by technology used in more than two million prior treatment cases. The company serves both new aligner users and patients seeking retainers or night guards for ongoing care.
SmileSet was built on technology and assets acquired from SmileDirectClub after the direct-to-consumer aligner company filed for bankruptcy and liquidated its operations.

SmileSet products are now available on both FSA Store and HSA Store.
