PDS Health, a leading healthcare support organization, and the American Dental Hygienists Association (ADHA) announced a strategic partnership to offer the “Generation Smile Dental Plan” to ADHA members.
Designed for licensed dental hygienists and their families, this plan offers a flexible and affordable alternative to traditional dental insurance, saving up to 60% on a range of services, including specialty care.
The plan covers preventive and restorative treatments such as cleanings, exams, crowns, and orthodontics, as well as specialty services including endodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics.
Members enjoy transparent pricing, no deductibles or annual maximums, no waiting period, and a low annual fee. Family members are also eligible. The “Generation Smile Dental Plan” will be available nationwide in over 1,000 PDS Health locations by October 2025.
This plan fills a critical gap in dental benefits for oral health professionals. Research from the American Dental Association’s Health Policy Institute indicates that over 25% of dental hygienists lack dental insurance, even when working in a dental office, and over a third do not receive benefits through their employer.
