The Giants Group of Tivim, in partnership with Goa Dental College & Hospital, organized a Dental Checkup Camp for students at Government High School, Mulgao on Saturday, July 5, 2025. The event was officially opened by Chief Guest Shri Govindraj Desai, Principal of Harmal Panchakroshi Higher Secondary School.
The inauguration took place in the presence of several dignitaries, including Gt Sanjay Banaulikar, Federation President; Dr. Fhelen Da Costa, Lecturer at Goa Dental College; Mrs. Swati Arondekar, Headmistress of Government High School, Mulgao; Gt Sudir Revankar, Unit Director; Gt Keshav Raikar, President; Gt Ganpat Raikar, Director Finance; and Gt Kishore Sawal, Secretary.
A team of seven dental surgeons from Goa Dental College and Hospital, led by Dr. Fhelen Da Costa, conducted thorough dental check-ups for 143 students from grades five to ten. The team included Dr. Apoorva Dukle, Dr. Kunal Madne, Dr. Malan, Dr. Prajakta, Dr. Aditi, and Dr. Fleur. Twenty-three students received immediate dental treatment during the camp.
Shri Govindraj Desai commended the Giants Group of Tivim for their community service initiatives. He emphasized the importance of such projects in promoting public health.
During the event, two new members, Yajesh Naik and Ramchandra Pal, were officially inducted into the Giants Group of Tivim after taking an oath administered by Unit Director Shri Sudhir Revankar. Keshav Deshpande introduced the guests, while Keshav Raikar welcomed attendees. Ganpat Raikar served as the compere, and Mrs. Swati Arondekar delivered the vote of thanks.
