Victorian Mobile Dental Clinic “Jasmine” Expands Care for Children

Victorian mobile dental supplier Teeth On Wheels recently unveiled its newest mobile clinic, Jasmine, marking a decade of providing dental care to children across the state.

The naming ceremony brought together school leaders, government representatives, and the Teeth On Wheels clinical team to showcase how mobile dentistry is breaking down barriers to care. The service now reaches more than 25,000 Victorian children annually, partnering with 200 schools and 200 childcare centres.

The new clinic is fully equipped with an operatory inside the van, enabling check-ups, preventive care, restorations, and six-monthly reviews on-site.

Victorian Minister for Small Business Natalie Suleyman toured the clinic, emphasizing the importance of accessible dental care for children. “Dental health is one of the most important parts of a child’s overall wellbeing,” she said.

“Tooth decay remains a leading cause of hospitalisations for kids, and programs that meet children where they are – like mobile dental clinics – play a vital role in changing that.”

Founded on the principle of reshaping children’s dental experiences, Teeth On Wheels has grown into one of the state’s largest mobile dental services, offering care that is positive, comfortable, and fear-free.
