The Chicago Dental Society (CDS) honored three individuals for their dedication to oral health during the virtual opening session of CDS’ annual Midwinter Meeting:

- Dr. Jeffrey Dalin from St. Louis received the George H. Cushing award for his commitment to the Give Kids A Smile program.
- Lois Banta received the Gordon J. Christensen Lecturer Recognition Award for her speaking engagements.
- Dr. Mark Humenik received the CDS Foundation Vision Award for his support in providing oral care to underserved communities.
