Cytrellis Biosystems, a medical aesthetics company focused on skin restoration technologies, has expanded into the Canadian market with the launch of its ellacor? system at a Toronto plastic surgery practice.
The company announced on March 5 that Lawrence Park Plastic Surgery, led by Dr. Mathew Plant, has become the first plastic surgery clinic in Canada to offer the ellacor treatment. The system uses Cytrellis’ proprietary Micro-Coring? Technology, which removes small cores of skin to tighten tissue without traditional surgery.
The technology is designed to address excess skin through precise micro-scale coring, creating visible tightening while avoiding surgical excision. By removing tiny portions of skin in a controlled pattern, the procedure allows the surrounding tissue to naturally contract and heal, producing smoother and firmer skin.
