Polaroid DDS Imaging Software: No Boundaries

Polaroid DDS Imaging Software: No Boundaries

Polaroid HealthCare has introduced a new Windows-based imaging programme, Polaroid DDS. The new DDS Imaging programme has no limits and fees. The open architecture design has direct integration with most of today’s top 10 X-ray sensors, PSP scanners, intraoral cameras, caries detectors, digital SLR cameras, and 2D Pan/Cephs.

Users can benefit from having one software programme to use for their current, and future imaging needs. Polaroid DDS was created as a free standing, open-source imaging software, and not as one designed to make a particular piece of hardware perform.

Polaroid DDS uses the latest in dental and medical imaging algorithms combined to produce incredible images. The specialised filters allow the practitioners to select the perfect filter, or assign their favourite to all the images. In just one click, six variations of an image can be displayed side-by-side, each with a different filter applied.

Practitioners can also instantly choose which filter(s) provides the best detail, sharpness, or contrast, whether it be for general dentistry, perio or endo procedures to assist them in making accurate diagnoses.

Polaroid DDS Imaging Software features the following:

No limits: Users can continue to use their existing hardware devices in Polaroid DDS, and when it is time to replace them, they have the freedom to choose any replacement brand product they like. They are not locked into high-priced proprietary hardware and support fees.

Direct integration: Often providing two-way communications when available, Polaroid DDS has easy data converters for many of today’s top Imaging programmes to accurately convert existing patient images into Polaroid DDS, saving users hundreds of hours trying to export them themselves.

No fees: DDS has no monthly or yearly fees and comes with free lifetime installation, training and support. It is available in over 25 languages.
