Samia Family Dentistry of Garner will honor local veterans with a Free Dental Care Day on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event offers veterans a range of complimentary dental services, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, crowns, X-rays, fluoride treatments, and consultations. Dr. Paul Samia and his team aim to make dental care more accessible while expressing gratitude for the sacrifices veterans have made.
“Veterans have given so much for our freedoms,” said Dr. Samia. “This is our way of giving something back. We want every veteran in our community to feel valued, respected, and cared for.”
Even for veterans who are not among the nation’s approximately 32,800 homeless veterans, many experience isolation and a sense of disconnection after leaving the military. Studies show that about half of veterans face such challenges, which can contribute to poor physical and mental health.
Dr. Samia, originally from Wake Forest, has long prioritized volunteer work and service. He has participated in initiatives such as Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and a dental mission in Kenya, providing care to those with limited access to dental services. Free Dental Care Day for Veterans continues this commitment, offering smiles and support to those who have served the country.
Veterans wishing to participate should present a valid veteran ID. While walk-ins are welcome as space allows, organizers encourage veterans to call ahead to reserve a spot.
