Scofield Hosts Two-Day Free Dental Clinic to Ease Dental Problems

This Friday and Saturday, Schofield will host a two-day free dental clinic to serve those with dental needs who lack access to healthcare.

The clinic is expected to attract at least 700 volunteers, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental students and community members.

The event, hosted by the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) and the WDA Foundation, is held every two years and is held in different areas of the state.

The event will begin accepting patients at 5:30 a.m. each day and is expected to provide a variety of free services to approximately 450 visitors, including extractions, fillings, cleanings and a limited number of partial dentures and trays.

“Our priority is to help patients relieve pain and provide support for those who cannot afford regular dental care,” said dentist Dr. Jeremy Hoffman, a dentist at Schofield Dental Vision Center and one of the active drivers of this charity.

Hoffman added: “We hope to use this opportunity to showcase the professionalism and social responsibility of the dental industry while raising awareness of the issue of medical accessibility.

Today, dental care is still difficult to obtain in our community and throughout Wisconsin.”

The medical equipment, consumables and food required for the event were generously donated by the community.

Patients who come to the clinic do not need to provide identification, social security numbers or insurance information to ensure that everyone can get the help they need without any obstacles.

This charity clinic not only brought medical assistance, but also conveyed love and hope, demonstrating the power of community cohesion and humanitarian spirit.
