Zenyum and MakeO Toothsi Merge to Build Asia’s Largest Consumer Dental Group

A significant development has taken place in the dental braces and orthodontics industry as two leading companies, Zenyum from Singapore and India’s MakeO Toothsi, have revealed plans to merge. This new union aims to create Asia’s top consumer dental company, with a reach extending from the Middle East to Japan. The merger is expected to be finalized by the end of February, pending the necessary approvals.

Both Zenyum and MakeO Toothsi provide a range of dental services, including orthodontic products like clear aligners, digital dental solutions, and oral-care items. After the merger, these offerings will be available through both online platforms and physical clinics. According to Zenyum, this merger brings together companies that are similar in size but operate in complementary regions, allowing the joint entity to expand its coverage and services to more countries.

The combined company will have headquarters in Mumbai for overall operations, while Zenyum’s headquarters in Singapore will manage Southeast and North Asia activities. Key markets include India, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and several Middle Eastern countries. The new group will have nearly 1,100 partner doctors and a strong team of dental and orthodontic professionals to ensure quality treatment and support for U.S. FDA-certified products.

Both brands will continue operating independently for customers, meaning users will still see Zenyum and MakeO Toothsi as separate names in the marketplace. However, Zenyum is set to introduce product improvements and innovations soon as the merger process moves forward. The company also plans to use technology, including AI, to increase efficiency and improve its supply chain.

Industry insiders say this move positions the united group for rapid growth and future opportunities. India is considered an attractive market for potential public offerings, and the combined expertise of the two companies may help further advance orthodontic care and dental braces solutions across Asia. Meanwhile, Ideal Dental has announced plans to open a new location in Allen, Texas, expanding its offerings in general dentistry and orthodontic treatments, which reflects ongoing developments in the global dental care sector.
