Dr Sulman Ahmed launches ToothScience oral care brand

Dr Sulman Ahmed, founder and chief executive officer of DECA Dental Group, has announced the launch of ToothScience, a new oral wellness company developed to provide clinically based oral care products.

The concept for ToothScience originated from Dr Ahmed’s experience in clinical practice, when a parent questioned the suitability of a toothpaste sample provided to their child. The idea remained with him, later reinforced by his own observations as a parent regarding the ingredients commonly found in children’s oral care products.

In response, Dr Ahmed collaborated with a team of scientists, formulators, and clinicians over three years to create a range of oral care products designed to combine clinical efficacy with simpler formulations. According to the company, ToothScience products contain clinically proven ingredients while avoiding artificial dyes, alcohol, parabens, gluten, and genetically modified components.

The brand has launched with three toothpaste variants — daily care, kids care, and sensitivity — with a vision to build a system for “Whole Mouth Health”. Additional products are in development.

Dr Ahmed stated that the goal of ToothScience is to promote safe, effective, and easy-to-use oral care while encouraging a broader understanding of the link between oral and overall health.
