GPS Dental, a growing dental service organisation (DSO) operating over 100 practices across 28 states, has extended its use of VideaAI, implementing the dental AI solution across its entire network. The move highlights the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence among mid-market DSOs.

Florian Hillen, chief executive officer of VideaHealth, said, “AI in dentistry should empower clinicians, not replace them. GPS Dental’s model prioritises patient care and clinician support while embracing innovation. We’re proud to help accelerate their growth with technology that puts both patients and providers first.”

Since introducing VideaAI, GPS Dental has observed measurable improvements in clinical performance. Gross production per patient in restorative and periodontal care increased by 19%, while total crown production grew by 32%. These gains suggest improved diagnostics, higher treatment acceptance, and greater consistency in patient care.

VideaAI supports real-time interpretation of dental X-rays, assisting clinicians in identifying and explaining treatable conditions. This enables patients to make more informed decisions and receive timely treatment.

“As we continue expanding our footprint, GPS Dental remains focused on the data that drives smart growth,” said Abigail Castro, procurement specialist at GPS Dental. “VideaAI helps us turn insights into action, giving our practices the visibility they need to make informed decisions, improve patient outcomes, and stay ahead of our competitors.”

The platform integrates into GPS Dental’s existing workflows, providing diagnostic support across all locations and helping reduce variability and administrative burden.

GPS Dental, recently recognised among the top 10% of DSOs on the 2025 Catalyst Index by Henry Schein One, represents a growing group of organisations using enterprise-grade AI within community-based dental settings. VideaAI, already in use at DSOs covering over 80% of the largest 10 DSO footprints in North America, continues to extend its reach across the mid-market segment.
