Constance, August 1, 2017. What does simplicity exactly mean when it comes to finishing and polishing a composite restoration? In a traditional workflow the dentist employs several different instruments or discs in order to prepare the surfaces for the final polish. This is a cumbersome and time consuming process making it difficult to stay focused on the restorative procedure.
In contrast, the Enhance Finishing System accomplishes the process of excess removal, contouring, and finishing in a single step, simply by varying the pressure. The dentist will perform excess removal by applying greater pressure (“push harder”) and will ease it off for contouring and finishing – all in a one-step! The result is a smooth, contoured surface with a natural looking finish.
With these benefits, Enhance is one of the leading finishing systems in many markets across the globe (e.g. in USA, Australia and Russia) and has received a number of awards. The current Enhance portfolio will now be complemented by smaller shapes for better access and improved versatility. In particular, the compact design provides for reaching anatomical areas inaccessible for other instruments. At the same time the whole Enhance range will be upgraded with a new, modern, and user-friendly packaging concept. It includes, e.g., color coded, re-usable plastic containers for easy handling.

When used after the Enhance Finishing System, Enhance PoGo will yield high gloss in less time, and in a single step.
