Euronda: Forty years of passion, people and innovation

“We believe in people. People have helped us to grow and become what we are today. We are grateful to the employees who day by day give all they have to make the company thrive and we are thankful to our customers for choosing us every day.”

Protection and safety for people in the dentistry field. In a nutshell, that is what Euronda stands for. Founded in 1975 in Montecchio Precalcino, today Euronda is a major manufacturer of disposable medical devices and sterilisation equipment. It boasts a long tradition of innovation and technological supremacy and its progress has been driven by passionate people who have helped the company to grow without relinquishing its strong bond to the local area.

Its dense history is packed with ideas, challenges and creativity and goes back forty years with a brilliant insight – that of revolutionising the market with a brand-new generation of disposable saliva ejectors in PVC. This was its first real success which was based on a very simple yet radical idea: working with people and for people, coming up with solutions that would improve and increase protection in the dentistry field. Nothing has been able to halt Euronda’s inexorable advance since then.

In the 80s, it was the first company in Europe to produce disposable wipes for dental purposes and it permanently entered the continental market with products like saliva ejectors, tubing, towels and dental stools. A few years later, Euronda debuted in the sterilisation sector with a system equipped with products to cater for each single phase of the process: ultrasonic tanks, sealing machines and rolls, chemiclaves and aquaclaves.

In 2001 Euronda moved further afield and founded its first German branch, Euronda Deutschland, to be followed by the Russian branch Proteco and then Euronda France. An extended family united in its efforts to create solutions that deliver the utmost reliability and protection levels whilst ensuring the highest safety standards in the dentistry sector.

Over the first decades of the new millennium, Euronda has striven to better define and specialise its product ranges. 2005 saw the launch of the new generation of E9 autoclaves, the first to be fitted with a full inspection system implemented by Euronda and the first to have a data traceability and retrieving system with adhesive labels. 2008 was, on the other hand, a year of colour. The Euronda Monoart® range injected colour into disposable items. There was no looking back now. Once again, this marked the start of a true revolution as Euronda introduced a new concept of style, expressiveness and customisation and placed it at the service of dental surgeries all over.

The biggest world manufacturer of disposable saliva ejectors and the largest European manufacturer of disposable wipes and dental sealing machines, today Euronda is synonymous with excellence in the dental protection field with its three product ranges: Monoart®, dedicated to disposable devices, Pro System, a range of equipment and solutions dedicated to the sterilisation process, and the most recent arrival, Alle, consisting of sterile disposable products for surgical purposes.

Pro System: Sterilisation with an Euronda stamp

Pro System is a range of Euronda devices which caters for all phases of the sterilisation cycle, from cleaning to instrument disinfection and from sealing to sterilisation itself. With Pro System, Euronda has reworked and rearranged all the process phases in a single connected and integrated system which brings together the various procedures and equipment to achieve the same purpose: minimising any margin for error, streamlining work activities and generally raising protection and safety levels for the benefit of both staff and patients.

Apart from meeting all the highest standards set by the sterilisation protocol, Pro System solutions have also been developed to comply with the following key concepts:

● Usability and ergonomics: with straightforward touchscreen interfaces and user-friendly software which make it easy and quick to set cycles and functions.

● Automation, organisation and optimisation: to improve time management, efficiency and safety for operators with a protocol which is as automatic as possible and customisation of cycles and programmes.

● Validation, traceability and retrieval of data: a confirmation, printing and digital filing system which allows you to check, pull up and certify information on the sterility of the instruments as well as additional relevant data and successful outcome of all phases of the sterilisation process.

● Full inspection system: make sure that each single product can be fully inspected, making it easier to check and maintain it as well as keeping it working properly over time.

Ever true to its founding philosophy, with Pro System Euronda has come up with a complete range of solutions and equipment to cater for each phase of the process and the various sterilisation requirements. The various models of the Eurosonic family for ultrasonic instrument washing. Eurosafe 60, the thermodisinfector which carries out pre-washing, washing and drying in one single cycle. Euroseal and Euromatic, the two ranges dedicated to packing. And last but not least, the autoclaves of the E9 family and then the new product for this year: E10, the latest generation of autoclaves which encapsulates and enhances all the innovation produced and best experience amassed by Euronda.

Therefore, using Pro System solutions means having a complete sterilisation protocol at your fingertips – one which ensures the utmost safety for every phase of the process, optimising functionality and efficiency and fully guaranteeing complete and increasingly automatic traceability.
