The 2017 Annual Association of Orthodontists drew its usual impressive crowd of 13,000+ practitioners from around the globe and brought new patrons into the Ortho Technology booth for yet another successful meeting.
There was much buzz around Ortho Technology’s new Self-Ligating Bracket, Lotus Plus DS (Dual System). Practitioners were most interested in the unique flat Nickel-Titanium clip and simple twin-wing design. Dr. Lopes, the inventor of the product, was in the booth to demonstrate and further explain how the bracket was designed and tested rigorously prior to launch.
With one-piece strength, high slot manufacturing tolerances, a unique thermal Nickel Titanium planar clip, and the lowest possible SLB profile, Lotus Plus DS stands as one of the most advanced and versatile SLBs on the market. Ortho Technology was proud to introduce this product to its customers, and the response was astounding. “We’re pleased with the feedback we got at this year’s AAO for Lotus Plus DS and its ability to be either passive or active based on clinician preference,” said Shawn Potter, Director of Commercial Operations at Ortho Technology.
The other flagship product this year at the AAO was Ortho Technology’s new TruEase Bite Corrector Device for Class II and III cases. Designed to help non-compliant patients make the transition to an ideal Class I molar relationship quicker and with more comfort than any other bite-corrector device available, this product was also very well received at the AAO.
