At IDS 2017 in Cologne, VOCO will be exhibiting a whole range of innovations, including new products for the digital workflow
3D printers, composite blocks and scannable bite registration material
The IDS in Cologne is held every two years and is the No. 1 event for the international dental market. This year’s 37th International Dental Show is again expected to attract more than 135,000 visitors from over 150 countries.
VOCO will again be present to showcase exclusive product innovations, and in 2017, lay the cornerstone for its portfolio expansion into the field of digital prosthetics. VOCO utilises the world’s largest dental trade fair as a platform to present the results of many years of research, all of which bear the two definitive quality hallmarks of VOCO products: innovation and reliability. This year’s offering includes an intraoral scanner, which is the first to enable digital impressions of the subgingival region to be captured using an infrared laser. The range also includes 3D printers with optimal printing quality and speed, available in different sizes for use by laboratories and practices in combination with specially designed materials for the fabrication of dental models and splints/trays. Moreover, new additions to the company’s portfolio also include Grandio blocs, the composite blocks for CAD/CAM applications with superior hardness, and Registrado Scan, a scannable bite registration material.
VOCO is also presenting innovations in its “traditional” product segment, in the fields of restorative and prosthetic dentistry as well as oral care. These include V-Posil, a particularly rapid VPS precision impression material, and Admira Fusion x-base. This flowable bulk-fill restorative material without conventional monomers complements the ceramic-based Admira Fusion product range.
VOCO is also expanding its prophylaxis portfolio with CleanJoy SingleDose. The tried-and-tested cleaning and polishing paste for professional oral prophylaxis is now also available in handy single-dose blister packs. Furthermore, VOCO Profluorid Varnish, the popular fluoride varnish for tooth desensitisation, will also be available in bubble gum flavour.
