At the IDS 2017 in Cologne from March 21 to 25, Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers will present the latest trends in treatment center design, which will change the way we see dental practices and take the impression they leave one step further. The latest design lines, Embellished Elegance, Cheerful Patterns, Honest Materials and Pure Shapes create four different worlds of emotion. “Every one of the four lines leaves a different impression, triggers different emotions and brings esthetics to life in a different way,” explained Susanne Schmidinger, head of product management at Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centers. “Of course, dental practices are defined based on their high-quality medical treatments, but high-quality furnishings to match, underlining the practitioner’s individual style, help position the practice and leave patients with a lasting positive impression.”
Whether classic, minimalist or out of the ordinary: At IDS 2015, the company disclosed that new design trends have long made their way into treatment rooms. After all, treatment rooms offer an opportunity to radiate character, present your taste and preferences as a practitioner and make a statement. A well thought out design combining color, light and materials with functional processes and innovative medical products not only creates a smarter workflow but also a positive ambiance for the team and patients. “When the team and patient both feel at ease and all steps merge together seamlessly, we come very close to an ideal workflow,” said Susanne Schmidinger.

The Cheerful Patterns line is characterized by adventurous, fun and relaxed details. Fresh, bold, cheery colors combined with unconventional shapes leave an unmistakable impression, all thanks to the color scheme of red, ocher and sapphire. Combined with carbon, Carrara marble and neutral white, these colors liven up the room, winning over visitors with their youthful design alongside modern technology.
Pure Shapes, the design aimed at stylish, clean lines and minimalist fittings, leaves a mark with its translucent, calming colors. The ambiance has a hygienic, purist effect without exuding a sense of “cold” or “clinical.” Trendy, individual splashes of color add special highlights to make people feel good.
