Montreal Alpha Dental Clinic Helps Uninsured Canadians Access Care Under New Dental Insurance Plan

Alpha Dental Clinic, which serves patients in Montréal and Brossard, has begun offering comprehensive support to Canadians applying for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), a federal dental insurance initiative designed to expand access to oral health services for uninsured residents.

The clinic said its goal is to simplify the application process and help eligible individuals and families receive government-funded dental care at an affordable cost.

To qualify for the CDCP, applicants must be Canadian residents, have an adjusted family net income below $90,000, and not have access to private dental insurance. Eligible patients can receive coverage for a broad range of dental services provided at Alpha Dental Clinic, in line with the CDCP fee schedule.

Covered services include preventive care such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, routine examinations, and X-rays. Basic treatments, including fillings, root canal therapy, periodontal care, and extractions, are also included. In addition, major services—such as crowns, bridges, full or partial dentures, and certain oral surgeries—may be covered, subject to preauthorization requirements.

With the CDCP now fully implemented, Alpha Dental Clinic has positioned its staff to assist patients throughout the application process. The clinic provides guidance on eligibility checks, required documentation, and appointment scheduling, while also answering questions about coverage limits and available treatments.

The clinic highlighted its dual locations in Montréal and Brossard as a key advantage for Quebec patients seeking convenient access to CDCP-supported dental services. It also emphasized its patient-focused approach, noting that navigating a government dental insurance program can be challenging without professional support.

Alpha Dental Clinic said it remains committed to helping eligible Canadians make full use of the CDCP, improving access to essential oral healthcare for those who previously went without dental insurance.
