Chrissy Teigen Loses Front Veneers During Holiday Surprise for Kids, Laughs It Off

Chrissy Teigen experienced an unexpected holiday mishap while preparing a festive surprise for her children.

In a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, Teigen revealed that she accidentally knocked out one of her front dental veneers while setting up a Christmas activity at home. The plan involved planting crushed Oreos and candy canes in small pots so the treats would appear to “grow” for her kids.

While swapping in larger candy canes for the reveal, Teigen said she tried to open a package and her veneer came off. Laughing as she showed the gap in her smile, she explained that it was a veneer and that the entire piece had come out intact.

“This is what moms do for their kids so you can think you grew a candy cane,” she joked in the video.

The moment quickly resonated with other parents, who shared similar experiences and praised her candid reaction. Many commented on her humor and the realities of motherhood.

Despite the mishap, Teigen continued with holiday plans, including attending her children’s school winter sing-along. In videos from the event, she appeared smiling, though often wearing a face mask.

Teigen later updated followers that her dentist had replaced the veneer. She shares four children—Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren—with her husband, musician John Legend, and frequently posts lighthearted family moments on social media.
