New Children’s Dental Health Clinic Set to Open in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn. (ABC 6 News) — Children’s Dental Health Services (CDHS) will open a new permanent dental clinic in Rochester, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday, July 10.

The clinic, located at 1615 14th Street Northwest, aims to improve access to dental care for underserved children across southeastern Minnesota. CDHS officials say the project was made possible by a generous grant from the Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation.

“We’re incredibly grateful for their support,” said Sarah Hayes Anderson, Executive Director of CDHS. “Thanks to their generosity, we’ve been able to expand our services and provide high-quality dental care to more children than we ever imagined.”

The new facility will launch with six fully equipped operatories and plans to grow to twelve in the future. It will also operate as a central hub for CDHS’ mobile and school-based dental outreach programs.

CDHS expects to increase its appointment availability by January 2026, aiming to serve 1,000 additional children annually.
