MOORE, Okla. — Moore now has its first free dental clinic, giving residents greater access to oral health care, regardless of insurance coverage.
The Moore Faith Medical Clinic has added four dental chairs, a digital X-ray system, an ultrasonic sterilization system, and other modern equipment, according to the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation.
“As someone born and raised in Moore, I’m thrilled to see this come to our city,” said Terissa Singleton of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation.
The clinic’s expansion was made possible by a $130,000 grant from the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation, along with contributions from the Butterfield Memorial Foundation, Moore Love, and the City of Moore. These funds allow the clinic to serve more community members than ever before.
The Moore Faith Dental Clinic provides free primary care visits, prescription assistance, case management, spiritual care, basic diagnostic testing, and referrals to specialists.
“The dental clinic is just the beginning,” Singleton said. “We need volunteer dentists and hygienists to help make this possible.”
The expansion coincides with Moore Faith Medical Clinic’s ten-year anniversary, marking a decade of service to the community. The clinic now offers a wider range of healthcare services under one roof.
The Moore Faith Dental Clinic is open Thursday evenings. No insurance or identification is required for care.
