Moore Opens First Free Dental Clinic, Offering Care Every Thursday

Moore’s first free dental clinic has opened its doors, giving residents across Oklahoma access to oral health care regardless of insurance coverage.

The new facility, located at the Moore Faith Medical Clinic, features four dental chairs, a digital X-ray system, an ultrasonic sterilization unit, and other modern equipment. The project was made possible through a $130,000 grant from the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation, with additional support from the Butterfield Memorial Foundation, Moore Love, and the City of Moore.

“As someone born and raised in Moore, I’m very excited to see this come to our city,” said Terissa Singleton of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Foundation.

The clinic expands on the nonprofit’s mission to provide comprehensive care. Patients can access free dental treatment, primary care visits, prescription assistance, case management, diagnostic testing, specialist referrals, and spiritual support.

“The dental clinic itself is just the beginning,” Singleton said. “We need volunteer dentists and hygienists to come in to make this possible.”

The opening comes as Moore Faith Medical Clinic marks its 10th year of service to the community. The milestone highlights the clinic’s growth from providing medical care to now offering a full range of health services under one roof.

The Moore Faith Dental Clinic is open Thursday evenings. No insurance or identification is required to receive care.
