Bury Clinic Offers Discounts After Passing CQC Inspection

A dental and eye care clinic in Bury is rewarding its patients with a 10 per cent discount after successfully passing its first Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.

Eye & Dental Clinic, located on Ainsworth Road, received a “compliant” rating across all areas during its debut visit in October. Inspectors praised the clinic’s staff for having “the skills, knowledge, and experience to carry out their roles” and for treating patients “with dignity and respect.”

The inspection also found that the clinic provided care “in line with current guidance” and ensured that patients could access treatment “when required.”

The family-run practice was founded by dentist Dr. Imran Uddin and is supported by his father, ophthalmology specialist Mr. Jawahir Uddin. Following the positive inspection, the clinic said it wanted to thank its loyal patients.

A spokesperson for the clinic said: “We aim to provide a human-focused clinic and blend the newest technology with an old-school, friendly approach to our service. Our prices are already below the national average because we don’t want people to pay too much to keep their teeth healthy. With the success of passing the CQC inspection, we wanted our existing patients to save even more.”

The clinic provides private dental treatment alongside eye care procedures, including chalazion removal, treatment for dry eyes, and foreign object removal. It is also expanding into a neighboring building to increase capacity for both dental and eye care services, with more treatments planned in the future.

The CQC noted consistently positive feedback from patients. Reviewers praised the team’s professionalism, the time they spent with patients during consultations, and the cleanliness of the clinic.

Eye & Dental Clinic said its ethos is focused on personal patient care. “We even know our patients’ tea and coffee orders for when they’re in the waiting room,” the spokesperson added.

The 10 per cent discount is available immediately for existing patients. It applies to procedures starting with the letter “C,” including cleanings, composite bonding, check-ups, and more. New patients can also benefit from free cosmetic consultations with the clinic’s treatment coordinator.

In its report, the CQC highlighted the clinic’s effective risk management systems, including infection prevention and control. Staff recruitment followed current legislation, and inspectors noted strong leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.

The clinic provides private dental care for both adults and children and is fully accessible, with step-free access and car parking spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled patients.

With the combination of professional care, patient-focused service, and competitive pricing, Eye & Dental Clinic aims to continue growing while maintaining the quality of care recognized in its first CQC inspection.
