Cardi B has said she is no longer planning to undergo another cosmetic procedure after her current tour, explaining that she feels more comfortable with her body despite the physical changes that have come with motherhood.
The rapper, who is currently balancing life with four children while performing on her “Little Miss Drama Tour,” opened up about body image and surgery during a March 2026 appearance on Today with Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones. Although she had previously mentioned the possibility of traveling to Colombia for a procedure, Cardi said she has decided not to move forward with it for now.
When asked about the plan, Cardi confirmed that she had considered having more of her butt injections removed, but said timing has become a major factor. She explained that she simply does not have the time to commit to another recovery period while managing her family and touring schedule.
At the same time, the Grammy-winning artist said she has become more accepting of her body as it is now. Cardi noted that she feels comfortable with herself despite visible cellulite and other changes she attributes to age or having four children. Her comments reflected a more relaxed and self-assured perspective compared with earlier years, when she often spoke about cosmetic enhancements in connection with confidence and public image.
Cardi has been notably transparent about plastic surgery throughout her career. She has openly discussed procedures including breast implants, liposuction, rhinoplasty and dental veneers. However, her most repeated warnings have centered on the illegal butt injections she received in her early 20s, which she has described as painful, unsafe and deeply regrettable.
The rapper revisited the topic in September 2025 during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she said she had already undergone a reduction on her behind. She also explained that any further corrective work would be physically demanding and require a lengthy recovery, including months of bed rest, making it difficult to fit into her schedule.
Cardi first shared details of the injections years ago, saying she paid about $800 for the procedure in a basement in Queens when she was 21. Speaking previously to GQ, she described the experience as extremely painful and said it was done by an unlicensed provider without anesthesia. She also recalled feeling dizzy afterward and said the injection sites continued leaking for days.
She later said she had once considered returning for a touch-up, but that never happened after the woman who performed the injections was reportedly arrested. In 2022, Cardi revealed that she had 95% of the injections removed and used the moment to strongly caution others against similar procedures.
Over time, Cardi’s message has shifted from glamorizing cosmetic changes to encouraging safety, research and realism. While she continues to speak openly about altering her appearance, her latest comments suggest she is currently prioritizing health, comfort and the demands of family life over further surgery.
