Bowen Health Center Opens New Dental Clinic in Warsaw, Expanding Services to the Community

On Monday, September 8, Bowen Health Company celebrated the grand opening of its new clinic building in Warsaw. The new building is located at 901 Anchorage Point Boulevard, having previously been located at 850 North Harrison Street.

The new clinic is the first under the Bowen Health umbrella to offer dental services, joining its existing offerings of primary care, mental health, addiction recovery, and life skills coaching.

Dr. Rob Ryan, CEO of Bowen Health, commented on the significance of the move: “Today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

The previous chapter was one of love and community. Bowen Health was founded in 1961 to provide a place for patients with serious mental health or addiction issues to seek treatment outside of state hospitals.”

Over the past 25 years, Bowen Health has worked closely with Kosciusko County to help patients avoid state hospitals, saving Indiana taxpayers $476 million, Dr. Ryan said.

“I’m most proud of the fact that the people we work with stay in our community,” he added.

The design of the new Warsaw clinic reflects Bowen Healthcare’s commitment to comprehensive care. Dr. Ryan emphasized that the clinic’s goal goes beyond addressing mental health and addiction: “We want people to rebuild their marriages, return to the workforce with renewed strength, and ensure that those struggling with addiction not only regain control of themselves but also find the strength to help others. If you don’t have anywhere else to go, we’re here for you.”

Kosciusko County Commissioner Cary Groninger congratulated Bowen Healthcare on the opening of the new clinic and emphasized its impact on the entire county. Groninger also noted that the new clinic will provide dental services to local veterans who previously had to travel more than 50 miles for treatment.

Warsaw Community Schools Principal David Hoffert praised Bowen Healthcare as a strong community partner and leader in mental health. “This new facility will address a critical need for children who need dental care and other services,” he said.

Rob Parker, President and CEO of the Kosciuszko Chamber of Commerce, called the building a flagship for Bowen Clinic and a reflection of its commitment to providing exceptional service to the community.

Marie Martin, the state regional director, said the opening of the new facility represents “a significant investment in the health and well-being of Indiana residents” and creates new opportunities for growth and connection in the Warsaw community.

One of the unique services offered by Bowen Clinic in Warsaw is dental care, a service that will eventually be expanded to Bowen Clinic’s other locations in Plymouth, Huntington, Columbia City, and Wabash.

Dr. Colin Spencer, a dentist at Bowen Clinic, said the clinic will offer a full range of dental services, including fillings, extractions, cleanings, and basic root canals, with plans to offer dentures in the future.

“We are here to provide care to our patients, regardless of their ability to pay,” said Dr. Spencer. “I was inspired to work here by Bowen Clinic’s mission and vision, and I’m deeply impressed by their commitment to the community.”
