A brand new dental clinic is about to open, providing high-quality oral health care to residents of one of Scotland’s fastest-growing villages and its surrounding communities.
The Winchborough Advanced Dental Clinic, set to open later this year, marks the latest development for the family-founded Scottish Dental Care Group.
The purpose-built clinic will feature five state-of-the-art consultation rooms, designed with patient comfort and care at the forefront.
Located within Winchborough’s major masterplanned development – ??which includes over 3,800 new homes, an 85-acre park, a new M9 motorway junction, and a canal marina – the clinic marks a significant investment in Winchborough’s future as a thriving commuter town.
Dr. Philip Freer, co-founder and dental director of Scottish Dental Care, expressed his excitement about bringing modern dental services to the community: “Winchborough is rapidly developing, and we recognize the urgent need for high-quality dental care in the area.
Our new, state-of-the-art dental clinic allows us to offer modern, digital dental services without the need for patients to travel long distances.”
The clinic has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm and comfortable environment, from the eco-friendly furniture in the patient lounge to the five fully equipped treatment rooms.
A multidisciplinary team will provide a full range of services, including general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, implants, restorative care, and hygiene, all supported by cutting-edge technology.
The new clinic follows Scottish Dental Care’s £1.5 million investment in the refurbishment of three clinics on the east coast.
The clinic will accept both private and dental plan patients, while also offering limited NHS places for children under 26 and their families.
Lynn Hood, CEO of Scottish Dental Care, emphasized the importance of this project: “The Winchborough clinic is a prime example of how we are evolving and growing while meeting the needs and expectations of our patients.
It offers opportunities not only for patients, but also for clinicians, dental hygienists, and support staff who want to work in a forward-thinking, quality-focused environment.”
Clinicians will benefit from strong professional support, state-of-the-art equipment, and extensive training and career development opportunities.
While other providers in the industry are consolidating, Scottish Dental Care is expanding and investing in technology, talent, and infrastructure while maintaining the distinctive character of its practices.
The group is renowned for its high-standard refurbishments and cutting-edge digital equipment, ensuring that both patients and practitioners have access to the latest innovations in dentistry.
With 23 clinics across Scotland, Scottish Dental Care has a growing reputation for advanced treatments such as implant dentistry, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and facial aesthetics, setting new standards for the future of oral care.
