Health Net has more than 1,000 dental providers, bringing care to nearly 385,000 individuals in the two counties, according to a Sept. 23 news release.
The company provides healthcare services to nearly 2.2 million individuals in California, including more than 1.5 million Medi-Cal beneficiaries.
Health Net is now one of three managed care organizations selected to provide dental services to individuals on Medi-Cal.
The new 54-month contract will go into effect July 1, 2025.
Health Net Community Solutions is a subsidiary of Centene Corp., the release said.
