The Australian Dental Association New South Wales (ADA NSW) has unveiled major upgrades to its digital dentistry education program, offering new content, hands-on experiences, and access to cutting-edge dental equipment.
This announcement follows ADA NSW’s recent strategic partnership with Dentsply Sirona, aiming to support clinicians in delivering high-quality patient care.
The revamped program introduces complete end-to-end digital workflows, covering scanning, design, milling, and firing, all accessible through the ADA NSW Digital Training Centre.
Members can now engage with Dentsply Sirona’s Primescan and CEREC systems, gaining practical, interactive experience with modern digital dentistry.
The addition of the Axeos CBCT further enhances clinical education and supports the Filling the Gap initiative, improving service delivery for vulnerable patients.
Bi-monthly Digital Discovery Sessions will provide a relaxed environment for practitioners to explore equipment, ask questions, and learn how digital tools can streamline clinical workflows.
“Digital technology is reshaping clinical practice, and we want our members to feel supported in integrating these advances,” said ADA former president Dr Dominic Aouad. “Expanding our digital training enhances practitioner skills and improves patient outcomes.”
David Taylor, vice president & general manager ANZ at Dentsply Sirona, added, “Our collaboration with ADA NSW brings world-class digital solutions to more dental professionals, fostering efficient, patient-centered care.”
