Case Western Reserve Dental School Receives Grant to Support Veterans Day Clinic

Since 2018, the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine has offered discounted dental care to veterans and active military personnel on Veterans Day.

This year, the school received a $5,000 grant from the Delta Dental Foundation to support these services.

“The foundation’s support will allow us to continue improving access to high-quality dental care for those who have served,” said Ali Syed, admitting clinic director and associate professor of oral and maxillofacial medicine. “We are grateful for this ongoing partnership.”

The Delta Dental Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides grants to initiatives promoting oral health.

Its funding supports programs that increase access to care, advocate for oral health, develop the dental workforce, and advance education across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
