Dental Clinic in Labi Health Centre Temporarily Closes for Repairs with Nearby Clinics to Support Patients

The Dental Clinic at Labi Health Centre will be temporarily closed starting May 9, the Ministry of Health announced. The closure is necessary to carry out repairs and maintenance on the clinic’s dental chairs and equipment.

Patients who require dental treatment during this period are advised to visit the Dental Clinic at Sungai Liang Health Centre, which is the nearest alternative facility. Services there will be available from Monday to Thursday in the morning, from 7:45 a.m. to noon, for all types of dental procedures. On Saturdays, only emergency cases will be attended to.

For patients who cannot access the Sungai Liang clinic, treatment can also be sought at the Dental Clinic in Seria Health Centre or at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, depending on the type and urgency of the treatment needed.

The Ministry of Health emphasized that the temporary closure is necessary to ensure the safety and effectiveness of dental services. The repairs will help maintain the clinic’s equipment and improve the quality of care once services resume.

Officials apologized for any inconvenience caused by the closure and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation. The ministry assured patients that a reopening date will be announced once maintenance is complete.

In the meantime, patients are encouraged to plan their visits to nearby dental clinics and schedule appointments as needed to ensure continuity of care. The ministry stressed that all alternative clinics are fully equipped to handle routine and emergency dental treatments during the Labi clinic’s closure.
