The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County has announced a new partnership aimed at strengthening services at its Smile Club Dental Clinic.
The non-profit is working with Noble Community Clinics to continue providing preventive dental care for children in the community.
“This partnership with Noble Community Clinics marks an exciting new phase for the Smile Club,” said CEO Danielle Belsky. “Together, we are ensuring that children and families continue to have access to high-quality, affordable oral health care right here in Portage County.”
The Smile Club Dental Clinic opened in 2016 with support from Delta Dental of Wisconsin. Since then, it has served more than 200 children each year.
The partnership began in September and allows volunteer hygienists from Noble Community Clinics to work at the Smile Club facility. Boys & Girls Club staff said Noble’s expanding range of services made it an ideal partner, with hopes the collaboration could support future growth of their own dental operations.
Dental services at the clinic are available to members of the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County.
