The two-day DentalForum event was full of insights and collaboration opportunities through keynote speeches, informal exchanges and its signature one-on-one speed talks.
The forum was hosted by Sam Waley-Cohen, founder and chairman of PortmanDentex Dental Group, focusing on innovation and growth strategies in the dental industry.
A highlight of the conference was the fireside chat between Zak Smith, non-executive director of Labyrinth Dental Laboratory Group, and Jeffrey Tomcsik, CEO of Grand Dental Group in Chicago, USA. They explored in depth the expansion and exit strategies of dental businesses and shared practical experiences from different markets.
In addition, Agilio Software, a medical operations software provider, brought a cutting-edge speech on digital operations, while professional dental consulting company Dental Elite provided the latest market trend analysis.
On the second day, Waley-Cohen and Tomcsik joined hands with Dr. Dev Patel, founder and CEO of Dental Beauty Partners, to participate in a roundtable discussion on business growth and clinician incentives, which attracted many industry representatives to participate actively.
Straumann Group, a leading global provider of oral solutions, held a high-level special meeting on the establishment of strategic partnerships.
At the finale of the forum, DEXIS and Nobel Biocare jointly held a unique 70s-themed celebration party to bring the event to a successful conclusion.
Currently, DentalForum has begun preparations for its autumn forum, which will be held in Dallas, USA from September 15 to 17. It will bring together 50 top American dental support organizations and many key industry players to further promote cooperation and development in the global dental industry.
