Free Dental Clinic and Medical Services Coming to Olean This Weekend

This weekend, the Olean Family YMCA, located at 1101 Wayne Street, will host a free community health event offering free dental, vision, and medical services.

The two-day clinic, a partnership between Remote Area Medical Organizations (RAM) and Jamestown Community College, aims to provide access to healthcare by removing economic and geographic barriers.

Services include cleanings, fillings, extractions, and X-rays; vision exams, prescriptions, and on-site glasses; women’s health screenings; and routine physicals.

RAM officials emphasized that “no insurance or identification is required, and the clinic is open to everyone who needs it.” Clinic services are first-come, first-served, and patients are encouraged to arrive early.

Parking will open at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, when volunteers will provide detailed instructions for the appointment process. The clinic will open at 6 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Due to capacity constraints, the clinic will operate at a reduced hour on Sundays, and patients may need to choose between dental or vision services. Physical exams will remain open to all.

Organizers note that due to circumstances beyond their control (such as inclement weather or changes in volunteer availability), the number of patients served may decrease.

RAM strongly encourages those seeking dental services, especially those seeking dental services, to arrive early. The clinic will remain open until capacity is reached daily.
