Health and Dental Screenings Available at Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church

The Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church will offer walk-in medical health screenings and dental appointments via mobile clinic buses this October. The event aims to provide essential health services to community members who may face barriers to regular care.

Local healthcare professionals will conduct screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and other routine health indicators. In addition, dental services, including cleanings, basic exams, and oral health education, will be available for all attendees. The mobile clinics are fully equipped to ensure safe and efficient care.

“This initiative is about giving back to the community and making healthcare accessible to everyone, regardless of insurance status or financial constraints,” said Pastor James Allen of Canetuck Missionary Baptist Church.

Appointments are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins are encouraged, but pre-registration is available online to help manage wait times. Church volunteers will be on hand to assist attendees with registration and to provide information on additional community health resources.

The screenings are open to individuals of all ages, though minors should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The church hopes the event will encourage preventative care, early detection of health issues, and better overall wellness in the community.
