Dr. Eckman has a solid professional background and rich experience. Born in Montana, he received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Montana State University in 1994 and a doctorate in dental medicine from the Arizona College of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2009, with a certificate in public health.
He is currently serving as an adjunct faculty member at the college (since 2024). He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association, and the national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Eckman enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, Vanessa, and their two sons. The couple has been together for more than 20 years and enjoys taking their children to explore zoos, botanical gardens and children’s museums. In his spare time, Dr. Eckman is also passionate about gardening and plant care.
