Lakeside Dental Care in Yorketown has officially changed ownership, with Dr Hamidreza Kangarshahy taking over the clinic after relocating from Canberra to the Yorke Peninsula.
Dr Kangarshahy, who has more than five years of experience in dentistry, said he is eager to rejuvenate the practice and expand services for the local community. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments, including deep cleans, implants and veneers.
With a team of six dental practitioners, Lakeside Dental Care aims to provide comprehensive oral health services for patients of all ages across the Yorke Peninsula.
“Lakeside’s goal is to build a strong foundation within the community,” Dr Kangarshahy said. “Our main priority is our patients and how we can best help them.”
He said the clinic hopes to challenge the common perception that visiting the dentist is an unpleasant experience by focusing on compassionate, patient-centred care.
In 2026, the practice has introduced new in-clinic payment plans and flexible treatment options to improve accessibility and comfort for patients.

To mark the transition, Lakeside Dental Care is offering a special cleaning and check-up package priced at $199 for all patients, both new and returning, until April 9.
