Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centres has launched a new treatment light: With its integrated multi-coloured LEDs, LEDview Plus produces nearly-natural light for unstrained visibility and uniform illumination of the oral cavity.

There is nothing more important in a dental practice than ideal lighting. Lighting allows the dentist to work in a healthy, fatigue-free manner and to see all the details in the working area as clearly as possible. This enables practitioners to meet their own high-quality standards when it comes to diagnostics and treatment which, in turn, boosts patient confidence. With the new LEDview Plus treatment light, Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centres not only guarantees ideal illumination of the treatment environment but also, thanks to the product’s intelligent details, an ergonomic workflow and hygiene safety.
Perfect illumination whatever the situation
The new LEDview Plus features multi-coloured LEDs that enable true-to-life colour reproduction; this makes assessing the gingiva and hard tooth substance easier, thus making treatment safer. The light field measures approximately 200 x 100mm, providing an impeccable view without needing to be readjusted – sharp and shadow-free at all times.
The composite mode is a particular highlight that specifically reduces blue light components. This prevents premature hardening of light-curing filling material. The materials can be processed without any time pressures and with exceptional visibility.
LEDview Plus also includes numerous modes that can be individually set. Practitioners can choose from seven brightness levels between 5,000 and 40,000 lux and set three different colour temperature levels (4,600 K – 6,200 K) to suit any treatment situation. Colour reproduction quality remains consistently high.

Ergonomic operation and simple hygiene measures
Intuitive operability is vital for ensuring an ergonomic workflow. LEDview Plus can be controlled contact-free via a sensor and via the panel on the dentist element. Handles are located on both sides for positioning and these can be removed for cleaning and thermal disinfection, which reduces the risk of cross contamination.
There are virtually no limits when it comes to positioning the light: Horizontally, vertically and diagonally – it can always be moved to the right treatment position.

LEDview Plus is now available as an option for the INTEGO, SINIUS and TENEO treatment centres.
