McGill University’s Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences sent a delegation to the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) General Meeting, held in Barcelona from June 25 to 28.
During the meeting, members of the delegation presented research, chaired sessions, and participated in workshops. Hundreds of presentations and thousands of posters were presented.
The delegation included Deans Elham Emami, Paul Allison, Pascaline Kengne Talla, Sreenath Madathil, Belinda Nicolau, and Sabrina Wurzba, as well as graduate students Newsha Toreihi and Harsimran Singh Kapoor.
The conference program included 354 oral presentations and 2,595 poster presentations, as well as a series of panel discussions, seminars, and workshops. McGill faculty, staff, and students participated in various activities:

McGill’s presence in Barcelona showcased its extensive research strengths and its active role in advancing oral health science, education, and policy.
