NHPC Launches New Dental Care Unit in Bansthali Vidyapeeth to Boost Rural Oral Health

On August 10, 2025, the new dental care unit at Banasthali Vidyapith was officially inaugurated, marking a key step for NHPC in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts and further demonstrating its commitment to promoting community well-being.

The inauguration ceremony, presided over by Shri Uttam Lal, Director of Human Resources, NHPC, demonstrated the company’s unwavering commitment to improving primary healthcare services, particularly oral health.

The dental care unit, located within Apaji Arogya Mandir Hospital, is equipped with advanced dental equipment and sufficient consumables to ensure at least two years of service.

Experienced dentists will provide on-call services at the clinic, ensuring continuous medical support for local residents. The project not only renovated the dental clinic but also comprehensively upgraded the equipment and service quality.

NHPC places a special emphasis on the oral health of the underprivileged, particularly women, with the goal of narrowing the gap in healthcare resources between rural and urban areas.

Through this initiative, NHPC not only improved access to healthcare in the community but also actively promoted oral health education and preventive measures, encouraging residents to develop long-term healthy habits and thus improving their overall health.

This initiative demonstrates NHPC’s systematic and forward-thinking approach to fulfilling its social responsibility, integrating healthcare projects with sustainable development concepts and providing valuable insights for other companies.

NHPC plans to continue prioritizing similar healthcare projects to ensure long-term positive impacts on social well-being.
