Peter Andre has revealed he required dental treatment after a fan accidentally injured him during a live performance, leaving him with chipped teeth and significant pain.
The singer, 52, explained that the incident happened on stage when an audience member, who had been drinking, lifted their leg in excitement and struck the microphone. The mic then flew into Andre’s mouth, chipping several teeth. “Talk about a kick in the teeth,” he joked while recounting the event.
Andre shared that he sought help at an aesthetics clinic owned by his brother-in-law, Tom MacDonagh, the brother of his wife, NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh. The clinic offers private cosmetic dentistry, and Andre said the damage was quickly repaired. He praised the results, saying his teeth had been restored to their original condition and that he was relieved and happy with the outcome.
The incident had not previously been made public, but Andre used the opportunity to promote the clinic on his social media, while Emily appeared in related content on the dentist’s Instagram account.
Andre married Emily in 2015, and the couple share three children: Millie, 11, Theo, nine, and 21-month-old Belle. He also has two older children, Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.
Writing recently in his New! magazine column, Andre reflected on fatherhood and said he feels content with his family size. He noted that while some people prefer to focus on their careers before having children, he believes he became a father at the right time. “I’m done at 52,” he wrote, adding that he is happy with his “brood.”
In his weekly OK! column, Andre also spoke candidly about his fears as a parent following the death of 11-year-old Olivia Curley in a suspected drug-related incident. He described the case as every parent’s worst nightmare and warned that children can be highly impressionable and vulnerable to peer pressure.
“It’s devastating to even hear the possibility of something like this,” Andre wrote, adding that the loss of someone so young made the tragedy especially heartbreaking.
