Rectangle Health Drives Faster Payments and Security Gains for Dental Services Entering 2026

Rectangle Health, a provider of practice management and payment technology for healthcare and dental services, is entering 2026 with strong momentum driven by measurable customer results, including faster reimbursements, streamlined workflows, and enhanced security.

Throughout 2025, the company focused on addressing issues identified as most critical by practices, such as slow payer cycles, manual Explanation of Payment (EOP) posting, and increasing compliance burdens. These efforts have enabled healthcare providers to process payments more efficiently and reallocate staff time to higher-value activities, according to the company.

A major milestone came in April with the launch of PayerSync, a solution designed to digitize and accelerate payer-to-provider payments. The platform integrates existing payer and provider systems, automating payments and EOPs to allow one-click posting directly into practice management systems (PMS) or electronic medical records (EMR). By consolidating secure, HIPAA-compliant payment and claims data, PayerSync aims to reduce errors and shorten reimbursement timelines.

“The opportunity to introduce PayerSync at this time in healthcare has been incredibly rewarding,” said Mike Peluso, chief product and strategy officer at Rectangle Health. He added that the solution builds on the company’s 30-year legacy by reducing administrative friction, strengthening payer-provider relationships, and improving access to working capital.

Rectangle Health broadened its ecosystem in 2025 through several strategic partnerships that extended the reach of PayerSync and its Practice Management Bridge technology.

In July, the company partnered with Clover to launch Clover PracticePay, targeting small and mid-sized healthcare providers. The solution combines Clover’s hardware and services with Rectangle Health’s payment technology, supporting HIPAA and PCI compliance while simplifying the payment process.

Additional partnerships with ECHO Health, Inc. in August and SKYGEN in November expanded automated claims payment processing and digital remittance capabilities. Through these collaborations, providers gain access to more than 450 payers and see payer cycles reduced by an average of 12 days.

Rectangle Health also expanded its Technology Partnership Program with Netsmart in October, embedding payment functionality into the TheraOffice EMR and PMS for therapy practices. Its collaboration with Run Payments was further advanced to modernize digital onboarding while maintaining customization and control.

In October, Rectangle Health achieved both SOC 2 Type II and HITRUST certifications, reflecting enhanced scrutiny and a comprehensive evaluation of its security controls. The certifications reinforce the company’s commitment to data protection, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

The company’s payment innovations received multiple industry honors in 2025. PayerSync was named a finalist in the PayTech Awards USA and the Fierce Healthcare Innovation Awards, while Rectangle Health was recognized in the Inc. 2025 Power Partner Awards.

Rectangle Health also strengthened its leadership team with several executive appointments, including Alan Matuszak as chief technology officer, Kelly Slavitt as chief legal officer, and Kathi Klawitter as chief operating officer.

Looking ahead, chief executive officer Dominick Colabella said the company is well positioned for continued growth. “Rectangle Health enters 2026 ready to lead the next phase of healthcare payment modernization through innovation, security, and partnership,” he said.
