Smile Genius, a fast-growing dental-tech platform, has raised €850,000 to accelerate its clinic–lab workflow solutions. The latest funding comes from Enterprise Ireland, UK-based Haatch, and a network of angel investors, supporting the company’s expansion across the UK and Ireland.
Since its 2021 launch, Smile Genius has rapidly scaled, serving over 1,200 clinics and processing more than 10,000 patient cases. Its platform is used in 33 countries, including the US, UAE, Egypt, and across Europe. In the UK, the company partners with three of the top five dental laboratories, strengthening its position in a key growth market.
Originally focused on aligner workflows, Smile Genius now offers an end-to-end lab-order management platform for independent clinics, dental groups, and labs. Recent updates include automated lab-order workflows, real-time cost visibility, and improved transparency for clinical, administrative, and finance teams—addressing a major industry challenge.
“This milestone reflects the momentum and confidence we’re earning across our UK and Ireland customer base,” said CEO Nipun Kathuria. “Our goal is to make Smile Genius the global standard for clinic–lab engagement, with plans to double our clinic presence by 2026.”
The company also plans to expand its teams in Ireland and the UK, opening new roles in Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
Headquartered in Leinster, Smile Genius continues to streamline communication and workflows between clinics and dental laboratories, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and case outcomes across multi-site operations.
