7 dental leadership moves to know

Here are seven dental leadership changes that have taken place since Feb. 12:

1. Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine appointed Denver Jenkins, DDS, as director of its advanced education in general dentistry program.

2. Dental AI company Pearl hired Eugene Katz to be its first vice president of customer success. 

3. Kirksville, Mo.-based A.T. Still University of Health Sciences named Kneka Smith dean of its School of Dentistry & Oral Health, effective June 22.

4. Dental technology company Dentsply Sirona added James Forbes and Brian McKeon to its board of directors.

5. Michael Puffe was appointed the interim COO of the Georgia School of Orthodontics.

6. Christy Englehart joined Appaloosa Dental Partners as the organization’s COO.

7. Cooperstown, N.Y.-based Bassett Healthcare Network named Tiffany Otto, DDS, its division chief of dental services.
