Ecosite One, a one-shade layering composite launched by DMG

DMG has launched Ecosite One, its new one-shade layering composite. The new composite is the latest member of the complete family of Ecosite restorative composite materials that includes Ecosite Bulk Fill – the original item in the line – and the newly-launched anterior/posterior nanohybrid composite, Ecosite Elements.

Ecosite One aims to set new standards in the field of posterior restorations with just a single shade. According to the company, it has a curing depth of 3mm and a rapid polymerisation within 10secs to provide great aesthetics of composite layering technology while saving significant time in the process.

Present in all DMG’s composites is the eye-catching “Push-and-Flow effect.” Noticeably firm at the onset, the material quickly becomes significantly softer for ideal sculptability, enabling adaptation and eliminating cracks and bubbles in the critical contact surfaces between the individual layers.

Unique DMG-NC-1, non-clustering, technology, also present across the entire product portfolio, enables a homogenous distribution of particles to deliver optimum working characteristics and easy polishability for a high-gloss finish, and aesthetic results.

The new composite is indicated for Class I and II posterior fillings including individual cusps, Class V fillings, core build-up, extended fissure sealing, and restorations in deciduous teeth. Other key benefits include low shrinkage stress stain resistance for long-term colour stability (data on file). The product is currently available in the US.
