ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Feb. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ – Delta Dental of New Mexico (DDNM) has announced the opening of the 2026 Smiles Across New Mexico (SANM) Grant Program, aimed at improving dental services and overall health for underserved children and at-risk populations statewide.

Since its launch in 2024, the SANM Grant Program has awarded funding to over 20 mission-aligned organizations, helping them expand critical services and reach communities with limited access to oral healthcare. The 2026 application period runs from February 1 to March 31. Grants of $5,000 will be awarded to eligible organizations, with preference given to non-profits. Funding may be used for program expansion, school-based initiatives, community education, clinical services, or other innovative efforts aligned with the program’s goals.

“Programs like Smiles Across New Mexico allow us to foster meaningful partnerships with organizations working every day to improve the lives of New Mexicans,” said Lou Volk, President and CEO of Delta Dental of New Mexico. “By investing in local programs, we are investing in long-term, community-driven solutions that make a measurable difference.”
