Bohol Governor Turns Over Dental Equipment to Boost Public School Health Services

BOHOL — Governor Aris Aumentado led the turnover of dental equipment and educational materials to the Department of Education (DepEd) Bohol, a move aimed at strengthening health services for public school learners.

The initiative, funded through the Special Education Fund (SEF), seeks to enhance student welfare and academic performance by promoting proper dental care.

“This serves as additional support from the Provincial Government to expand quality education and ensure the well-being of our learners, particularly their dental health,” Aumentado said.

Despite limited resources, the Provincial Government has maximized its support through projects and programs identified by DepEd Bohol “according to actual needs.”

The turnover was attended by DepEd-Bohol officials and teachers, led by Schools Division Superintendent Fay Luarez, alongside representatives from the Education Development Center, Mr. Metodio ‘John’ Maraguinot Jr. and Mr. Jaypee Morgia.
